How It Works
Advanced Technology and Key Features
Life Alarm provides lone workers with the confidence to know they can call for help at any time in the case that an emergency situation arises.
When the panic button is pushed on their lone worker safety device, or a fall is detected, the device’s location and status is provided immediately to a call center dispatch station. The lone worker will then be connected via a two-way voice alarm to a trained response agent who can notify authorities and send help right away to the worker’s exact GPS location.
This provides lone worker protection and monitoring at all times of the day.
Some key benefits include:
-
Safety At A Click Of A Button
Click the panic button for immediate help.
Also provides hands-free, two-way voice calls in the event of a fall, giving confidence to workers that they are never truly alone in the field.
-
Advanced Fall Technology
Fall detection technology triggers an alert without any manual intervention.
When falls are detected, automatic location coordinates are sent to the call centre and two-way voice calling contacts the user to confirm incident.
Unlike most other companies that use just one static sensor for fall detection, our device is cloud-based and adaptive. It’s the only device that continuously improves its fall detection accuracy through user interaction and usage patterns.
-
GPS Location Services & Nationwide Coverage
Now featuring advanced GPS and locating services in a rugged casing, Life Alarm is durable in the event of hard falls and water submersion with 24/7 help.
Nationalwide coverage with AT&T, Verizon or Telus (Canada)
Increased Visibility for Employers
The detection device provides loneworkers and their employers with additional reassurance through the use of our cloud-based app. The portal enables multi-person and secure care coordination with people you can rely on.
Employers can monitor employees to ensure their safety if they have been at a job site for too long. Through the portal, employers can view the location of the device, the GPS tracking waypoints the employee has traveled, device status such as signal and battery strength, and much more!
